They’re both anti-mask agitators who claim “medical exemption” and go into places looking to cause trouble under the guise of a “first amendment audit”. These guys are the real clowns.

u/strained_brain Oct 14 '21 Hugz

I love them keeping cops honest. Not so fond of hearing the anti-mask stupidity, though. So now I'm torn.

u/stmcvallin2 Oct 14 '21

Yeah I’ll admit I’ve watched a lot of their videos. Literally hours and hours of their content. I like the idea of filming in public spaces but these guys are genuine asshats.

32

u/The_Great_Blumpkin Oct 14 '21

Sounds like the type of idiot who thinks The Constitution is a permission slip to do what ever you want without consequences or regard for other people.

8

u/throtic Oct 14 '21

It's tough though because they are certainly asshats... but they also bring a lot of shithead cops back down to reality and in many cases, get justice(in the form of lawsuits or discipline for the officer)

1

u/cannotbefaded Oct 14 '21

IMO these guys are cringe as fuck They are just waiting for things like this to happen

7

u/WhoLoveYouLikeILoveU Oct 14 '21

He rapes but he saves.

3

u/Hiphoppington Oct 14 '21

I enjoy these first amendment audit videos and think they're right to do them but I've yet to find one that isn't an asshole. Still watch em tho. Maybe I'm the problem.

2

u/wizzlepants Oct 15 '21

I'm not a fan of the anti-mask thing, but at least they're being ideologically consistent and not bootlicking because that's what all the other anti maskers are doing.

1

u/Deeliciousness Oct 14 '21

Sounds like you might need a bit of asshattery to get big doing this stuff.

1

u/akodo1 Oct 14 '21

You are unlikely to find someone who you agree with on everything. If you do - chances are that you are just a parrot and not a free thinker.

You need to decide if you MOSTLY agree or MOSTLY disagree.

Then you need to decide if any of the disagrees are deal-breakers. And in that front, I hope you try to be consistent.

For example:

Do you believe in reasonable accommodations for those with medical conditions for anything/everything (does a blind person have the right to request a ballot in braille? should places be wheelchair accessible)

Do you believe it should be up to 'feelings' or 'law regarding where and when such accommodations are needed.

Do you have a problem with people lying and/or stretching the truth to get accommodations? Be that for a medical mj card or for a mask exemption? Or is lying only okay when it's for laws you personally disagree with?

Do you believe the science on mask wearing and vaccines? (That all masks are NOT created equal, that fit is important, and that the improperly fitted home made masks with noses poking above are essentially useless, and even if you tuck the nose in properly it's still not extremely impactful - but vaccines DO make a HUGE difference. If so, you should be okay with vaccinated people being maskless in most situations.

It's ok to just think both parties are assholes.

4

u/BuddyMustang Oct 14 '21

This is it. Everyone needs to calm the fuck down and not come at each other like middle school bully bitches. Adults speak their minds and work their shit out.

3

u/DizzleSlaunsen23 Oct 14 '21

Not anymore you gotta pick a corner and fucking fight for it!! /s well kinda

1

u/VoteGeriatric2020 Oct 14 '21

Both parties are assholes.

However, making public health a partisan issue makes you an asshole.

-1

u/ghozztz Oct 14 '21

Yeah, no shit. That’s what makes one of the involved parties an asshole.

The other party is an asshole for compensating for their small dick/fragile ego by chest bumping a kid for daring to film a tinted window.

Parties does not inherently mean political parties, and assuming it does makes you the asshole.

Good day sir.

1

u/GwaziMagnum Oct 14 '21

He never said anything about political parties.
You're the one who assumed it was.

-1

u/ghozztz Oct 14 '21

I said good day.

0

u/GwaziMagnum Oct 14 '21

And you thought you wouldn't be called out just because you said so?

1

u/ghozztz Oct 14 '21

I’m confused, what exactly are you “calling me out” for?

For responding to someone who called me an asshole for saying something that I didn’t say, or some other stupid fucking reason that only makes sense to idiots?

1

u/Pick_Up_Autist Oct 14 '21

They said "partisan issue", that refers to political parties.

A partisan is a committed member of a political party or army, zero chance they were talking about military members.

2

u/GwaziMagnum Oct 15 '21

Yea, that's a fair point.

I missed that, sorry.

1

u/KockBurn Oct 14 '21

Canadian checking in.....

You all look like assholes. Videographers, cops and commenters.

The whole scene plays out like a fucking grade 2 playground. Is this what we’ve evolved in too?

Bunch of assholes with cameras shoved in each other’s faces to keep one another honest. How does society go forward when interactions are based on what you can film some else doing rather than having a conversation.

Every interaction is a possible conflict with this mindset, and we wonder why people are on edge 24/7. It’s fucking ridiculous and both sides of this story are in the wrong, the cops and videographers just made the divide bigger.

Tell me how that makes the situation better?

Just.Grow.The.Fuck.Up.

1

u/Escape-From-Florida Oct 14 '21

Too bad grown ups for centuries have deemed violence is the most optimal way to deal with agitators.

2

u/MikeLilPauseRodick Oct 14 '21

You can feel two ways about someone.

2

u/hellure Oct 17 '21

People can do both smart and stupid things.

1

u/IsuzuTrooper Oct 14 '21

dude they are complete assholes

1

u/explosiv_skull Oct 14 '21

Just going off this one clip, are they keeping the cops honest? I mean, yeah, the cops probably don't have he right to tell you not to film their cars or look into the window of the car, but doing this kind of shit isn't really helping anybody, they're just being kind of obnoxious. They're like kids in grade school that would just do annoying shit like stand right in front of someone and when you tell them to move they'd say "I'm not touching you. I'm not touching you." They'd be better off filming the traffic stop, making sure the cops don't pull any shit on the person they stopped or really anything that actually made a difference.

1

u/all_no_pALL Oct 14 '21

I’m all out of faith

1

u/Feminist_Hugh_Hefner Oct 14 '21

honestly, it's one thing for me to watch these videos while I'm taking a dump, but it's an entirely different level of commitment to go out there and film hours of content to get a gem like this....

that's going to be a weirdo of some sort, it almost has to be...

1

u/MARPJ Oct 14 '21

Of all autits channel there is only one I like (audit the audit) and that is because they arent auditors themselves, but verify audits and other video and break down the legality, basically analysing both sides.

Have watched a lot of these I can say most auditors are too confrontational, asking for a problem to occur in order to have content, and that kinda takes away their reasoning. I love when an auditor knows when to step back, or notice that the cop talking with them is being a good cop and keep it civilized.

1

u/PubliusSolaFide Oct 14 '21

Now quick, choose between two candidates bought by dark money

1

u/TheSynthetic Oct 14 '21

lol, we love these guys for protecting the first amendment rights of the people! Oh they dont like being forced to wear masks?! How shocking they don't enjoy the government trying to make them do things...totally torn about them now!

1

u/strained_brain Oct 14 '21

Wearing a mask isn't a violation of the first amendment, though.

1

u/TheSynthetic Oct 14 '21

Never said it was, it's just funny to me that it's surprising that a group of people who don't trust LEO/Government and very adamantly reserve their right to freedom of speech would somehow just be ok with the government mandating they wear something over their mouths.

1

u/strained_brain Oct 14 '21

That's ridiculous. Wearing a mask isn't blocking free speech. I don't think anyone would think for a second that it was. It may slightly muffle it, but it certainly doesn't block it.

1

u/TheSynthetic Oct 14 '21

Again, no where in my comment did I say anything about it blocking their free speech. They are two separate things...expecting people who distrust the government to comply with the governments mandates is funny to me...that's it.

Not sure how you aren't getting this. This has nothing to do with freedom of speech.

1

u/strained_brain Oct 14 '21

You're the one who said, "...and very adamantly reserve their right to freedom of speech..."

No worries. I get your point.

1

u/TheSynthetic Oct 14 '21

Yes, to convey they aren't the type to be cowed into doing something someone in authority could try to squash

1

u/jmerridew124 Oct 14 '21

It's called nuance. You can like good actions and still take issue with the person.

1

u/Daguvry Oct 15 '21

I feel like anyone going out of their way to antagonize someone else working is an asshole.

It's the equivalent of putting your finger an inch from someone's nose and yelling "I'm not touching you, I'm not touching you!".

-9

u/[deleted] Oct 14 '21

But it's all first amendment. The government shouldn't be able to dictate what you wear or restrict your movement based on apparel. Especially if there is contrary evidence to the efficacy of the item they are asking you to wear. Or it doesn't apply if you're eating or drinking or any number of exclusions that exist.

7

u/Unfiltered_America Oct 14 '21

Your Facebook friends reposting anti-vax memes is not "evidence"

2

u/[deleted] Oct 14 '21

There are actual scientific papers about masks. And which work and how much and which are just feel good measures.

I wear my mask out because any protection is better than none. But when you allow people to eat together in a restaurant, it kind of negates the entire thing.

And I'm not sure there have been any cases tied to dining out.

2

u/bansheeboogaloo Oct 14 '21

had a bad feeling that they'd be those types by this video lol

1

u/stugster Oct 14 '21

They can be fucking idiots and also good guys at the same time. Can't be right about everything I suppose.

1

u/NoobTrader378 Oct 14 '21

How can they be pro-rights but then barge into a privately owned business and ignore their requested rules? These dudes wouldn't like it if Moderna rolled up and started jabbin ppl in their front yard

1

u/Smudgemom2003 Oct 14 '21

ITA. Poking the police is unnecessary. They do plenty of viral-video-activity WITHOUT poking….and citizens taping those incidents are the true Justice Heroes. These guys are just trying to make ‘fetch happen’ (Mean Girls movie reference) and it falls flat. Anti-maskers is really all I need to know about these asshats.

1

u/akodo1 Oct 14 '21

have you examined their medical exemptions to know they are not legit?

1

u/vanishplusxzone Oct 14 '21

Cops aren't automatically not clowns just because these guys are clowns on other issues.

The clownage can be shared.

1

u/PeeGeePeaKee420 Oct 14 '21

Um, no they aren't. They mask up when it's required. And they also go into places respectfully. The majority of their audits go positively. Can't have an educated opinion when you only look at one side.

1

u/ishyman Oct 15 '21

Not true. There is video of him wearing mask where it is required.

-1

u/DancingKappa Oct 14 '21

They are assholes just looking for trouble.
